Eric Pulier, Chairman & CEO

Mr. Pulier is recognized as among the leading and most successful entrepreneurs in government and enterprise technology. The best-known venture capital groups in the world have financed companies that Mr. Pulier has founded or co-founded. These include rich media presentation (MediaPlatform), Enterprise Professional Services (US Interactive), virtual desktops (Desktone), and service oriented infrastructure (SOA Software). Named one of 30 e-Visionaries by VAR Business, Mr. Pulier is a popular public speaker at premier technology conferences around the globe. Pulier is member of Bill Clinton’s Clinton Global Initiative, and is the Executive Director of the Enterprise Leadership Council


Frank Martinez, Chief Strategy Officer

Mr. Martinez is a recognized expert in the area of distributed, enterprise application and infrastructure platforms. Mr. Martinez is focused on driving development of scalable service-oriented infrastructure software that integrates business processes and information enterprise-wide. He has held senior executive operations roles at several venture-capital-backed firms. He was instrumental in building Intershop Communications into a multi-billion dollar public company in less than three years. Mr. Martinez was named an InfoWorld Innovator by InfoWorld magazine and has also been named one of 25 leading IT innovators by CRN.


Shawn Douglass, Chief Technology Officer

Shawn Douglass has been a cloud visionary and key contributor to the emerging enterprise cloud operating model for over a decade. Mr. Douglass is responsible for the strategy and vision of the Agility Platform and contributing to IT transformation at Global 2000 enterprises.

Prior to ServiceMesh he was managing director at EMC Ventures where he drove strategic investments in cloud, security, big data/analytics, and disruptive technology and business models.

He has served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Technical Steering Committee for the Enterprise Grid Alliance (EGA), and on the Board of Directors at Joyent, a high-performance cloud infrastructure provider. He is also a winner of the Always On 2012 Power Players in the Cloud award. Mr. Douglass is a graduate of Harvard Business School.


Craig Harper, Vice-President, Worldwide Sales

As Vice-President of Worldwide Sales at ServiceMesh, Craig is responsible for the execution and expansion of all revenue generating activities. He joins ServiceMesh after more than 25 years of sales and sales management experience. Prior to ServiceMesh, Craig served as Vice-President of Sales at ServiceNow where he was responsible for the development and execution of the sales, pre-sales and professional services organization, where he achieved industry record-breaking growth. From 1995 to 2008 Craig worked for BMC Software in various sales management positions culminating in Vice-President, Worldwide Solutions, Sales and Consulting leading a $1.2B business. Craig graduated from Brigham Young University.


Jeff Drake, Executive Vice-President, Corporate Development

Mr. Drake is an industry veteran with more the 25 years of experience in enterprise software.  At ServiceMesh, he is responsible for strategic alliances, M&A, and new market development.  Prior to ServiceMesh, Drake led business development at SOA Software, forming major alliances with companies such as Lockheed Martin and Accenture as well as managing several key acquisitions.  Prior to SOA Software, he was the Director of the Security Software Strategy for IBM. Drake arrived at IBM through the IBM’s acquisition of Access360, where he was the founder and President of Access360 responsible for funding, strategy, and operations. Access360, investors included Crosspoint Ventures, Oracle, and VeriSign.  Drake is the author of ‘Security Provisioning in the Complex Enterprise’.


Steve Henning, Chief Marketing Officer

Mr. Henning brings more than 25 years of global enterprise software experience to ServiceMesh where he is responsible for all aspects of corporate brand development, go-to-market strategy, and demand generation. Prior to ServiceMesh, Henning led product strategy and marketing for VMware’s Application Management offerings after the acquisition of performance analytics vendor, Integrien. At Integrien as VP of Sales and Marketing, he led all revenue generation and marketing activity, as well as managed a highly successful OEM relationship with EMC. Prior to Integrien, Henning was responsible for IBM Tivoli’s $300M Integrated Identity Management portfolio. In addition, Henning has held executive positions at Access360 and Continuus Software.


John Catalano, Vice-President, Product Development

Mr. Catalano has over 20 years of experience in leading software teams and bringing products from inception to market. Prior to ServiceMesh, Mr. Catalano was CEO of ExoCloud, which was acquired by ServiceMesh. ExoCloud created Cloud Manager for building, deploying and managing Cloud Resources across multiple commercial Clouds. Mr. Catalano also co-founded RedPoint Network Systems and served as the CEO and President. He was instrumental in the acquisition of RedPoint by NetQoS where he filled multiple roles before starting ExoCloud. Prior to RedPoint, Mr. Catalano served as VP Network Management Systems with ClearSystems, a systems integrator focusing on network management and operational support systems.


Jim Houghton, Vice-President, Global Client Services

Mr. Houghton possesses over 20 years of IT strategy, leadership, and execution experience. At ServiceMesh, he leads the client services team and is responsible for the global delivery of implementation and advisory consulting services for the Agility Platform and associated solutions. Houghton is also responsible for post-implementation customer satisfaction programs. Previously, Jim was the CTO and co-founder of Adaptivity, the Head of Architecture and Strategy for Bank of America, Head of Product Management for Wachovia’s Corporate and Investment Bank, and built and led leading-edge consulting practices for IBM Global Services and Deloitte Consulting.


Tammy Brandt, General Counsel

Ms. Brandt has extensive experience in corporate legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and marketing. She was previously Managing Counsel at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. where she was involved in marketing-related transactions, complex corporate matters, and support for the racing division. Prior to that, Ms. Brandt worked as a corporate attorney at Jones Day and Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP where she handled public and private acquisition transactions and related corporate and finance matters. She earned a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration from Bluffton University, and a JD degree from the Notre Dame Law School.
