Pulier is member of Bill Clinton’s Clinton Global Initiative, the Center for Telecommunications Management, and is the Executive Director of the Enterprise Cloud Leadership Council.
Frank Martinez is a recognized expert in the area of distributed, enterprise application and infrastructure platforms. Mr. Martinez is focused on driving development of scalable service-oriented infrastructure software that integrates business processes and information enterprise-wide. Mr. Martinez’s reputation as a technological visionary is demonstrated by his record of bringing innovative and commercially successful software solutions to market. He has held senior executive operations roles at several venture-capital-backed firms. He was instrumental in building Intershop Communications into a multi-billion dollar public company in less than three years. Mr. Martinez was named an InfoWorld Innovator by InfoWorld magazine and has also been named one of 25 leading IT innovators by CRN.
Peter Trepp, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Trepp has over 20 years of diversified experience in corporate finance, including a background in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, operations and management consulting. Prior to joining ServiceMesh, he was Managing Director for Verdant Venture Partners, LLC, a Cleantech venture capital firm. Prior to that, he headed up Barrington Associates’ technology practice and was involved with M&A transactions related to divestitures, valuations, corporate restructurings, and capital fundraising. Mr. Trepp has also been a CEO and a CFO for several technology companies. Prior to senior management roles, Mr. Trepp was a management consultant with KPMG Consulting (currently BearingPoint). Mr. Trepp served as President of the UCLA Anderson Alumni Association, was a member of the UCLA Anderson Board of Visitors, and the UCLA Presidents’ Council. He earned a BA degree in Economics from the UC Irvine and his MBA degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Bruce Greenberg, Chief Operations Officer
Mr. Greenberg has nearly 20 years of experience helping clients develop and execute innovative, technology-driven business strategies. His expertise includes strategic planning, operations improvement, and innovation management across multiple industries including financial services, transportation, and media & entertainment. He was a Principal (Partner) in the Enterprise Strategy Practice of Luminant Worldwide, which was a publicly traded professional services firm that grew to over $100M in revenues in less than 5 years. Previously, he was a founding member of Potomac Partners Management Consulting, acquired by Luminant Worldwide. Potomac Partners was an innovation-driven professional services firm named an Entrepreneur Magazine Hot 100 Growth Company. Prior to Potomac Partners, Mr. Greenberg was a consultant at AT&T Solutions, the professional services arm of AT&T, and HK Associates, a leading technology consultancy in Ra’anana, Israel. Stemming from his work in online media, he presented at a National Association of Broadcasters Conference on broadband strategy. He has also been quoted in industry publications as a subject matter expert on electronic marketplaces, clearinghouses, and online auctions. Mr. Greenberg earned a BA degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA (Fuqua Scholar) from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Dave Roberts, Senior Vice-President, Business Development & Platform Ecosystem
Mr. Roberts has two decades of experience in strategic product development. Prior to his current role as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Platform Ecosystem at ServiceMesh, Mr. Roberts held a similar role at open networking vendor Vyatta, where he positioned Vyatta as the leader in open networking. Prior to Vyatta, Mr. Roberts was the co-founder, CTO, and vice president of strategy at Inkra networks where he pioneered virtualized security and networking technology for utility and cloud computing. Prior to Inkra, Mr. Roberts was vice president of product management for Nortel Networks, responsible for product strategy and definition related to the company’s line of Layer 2 and Layer 3 Ethernet switches and campus ATM switches. Mr. Roberts has also held management positions at Bay Networks, Rapid City Communications, Cabletron Systems, ZeitNet, and AMD, where he spearheaded Gigabit Ethernet, ATM, and WiFi product lines and strategic marketing initiatives. He began his career with engineering positions at Hewlett-Packard. Experienced in a variety of technologies, Mr. Roberts is the author of eleven patents, three technical books, and numerous industry articles. Mr. Roberts regularly speaks at industry conferences around the world. Mr. Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Steve Henning, Vice-President, Marketing
Mr. Henning brings more than 25 years of global enterprise software experience to ServiceMesh where he is responsible for all aspects of corporate brand development, go-to-market strategy, and demand generation. Prior to ServiceMesh, Henning led product strategy and marketing for VMware’s Application Management offerings after the acquisition of performance analytics vendor, Integrien. At Integrien as VP of Sales and Marketing, he led all revenue generation and marketing activity for the company, as well as managed a highly successful OEM relationship with EMC. Prior to Integrien, Henning was responsible for directing all product management, product marketing, sales enablement and evangelism for IBM Tivoli’s $300M Integrated Identity Management portfolio. Previously, he served as senior director of product management at Access360, where he evolved the company’s user provisioning product to help it become recognized as a market leader, leading to Access360′s acquisition by IBM. The Integrien and Access360 acquisitions created over a quarter of a billion dollars in investor value. In addition, Henning has held executive positions at netHESIVE, Inc., Sserdda, Inc., Blue Lobster Software, and Continuus Software Corporation. Henning received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
John Catalano, Vice-President, Product Development
Mr. Catalano has over 20 years of experience in leading software teams and bringing products from inception to market. Prior to ServiceMesh, Mr. Catalano was CEO of ExoCloud, which was acquired by ServiceMesh. ExoCloud created Cloud Manager for building, deploying and managing Cloud Resources across multiple commercial Clouds. Mr. Catalano also co-founded RedPoint Network Systems and served as the CEO and President. He was instrumental in the acquisition of RedPoint by NetQoS where he filled multiple roles before starting ExoCloud. Prior to RedPoint, Mr. Catalano served as VP Network Management Systems with ClearSystems, a systems integrator focusing on network management and operational support systems. Mr. Catalano earned a BS in Computer Science from University of Maryland and an MBA from University of Dallas. He has also been an Adjunct Professor for the University of Dallas’ Graduate School of Management.
Ms. Brandt has extensive experience in sophisticated corporate legal matters, including a background in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and marketing. She was previously Managing Counsel at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. where she was involved in marketing-related transactions, complex corporate matters, and support for the racing division. Prior to that, Ms. Brandt worked as a corporate attorney at Jones Day and Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP where she handled public and private acquisition transactions and related corporate and finance matters. She has extensive experience advising high growth technology companies on a broad range of legal issues. She earned a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration from Bluffton University, and a JD degree from the Notre Dame Law School.
